A LOT HAS BEEN HAPPENING OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS

I have been involved in fulfilling some of the things I had said I would look into when I was elected 2 years ago.
This has not been an easy task and has taken time.
It has involved setting up groups & committees, there has been a lot of time spent on consultation with residents, but I am pleased to be able to give you a list of how I am doing.

STANTONBURY

WOODEND PLAY PARK PHASE 1 Official opening after all the refurbishment will be on Wednesday 14th April 2.00pm to 4.00pm COME ALONG AND SEE.

THE BLUE PARK the new play equipment has been ordered and I am looking forward to seeing that installed.

GATEHOUSE SCHOOL I have been working with some of the boys on Community Projects which have gone very well.

SAINSBURY'S PLANS I have had many meetings with Sainsbury's, PCT ( Primary Care Trust ) Campus, residents from all areas, althought they did withdraw the application the recommendation from MKC Planning Officers was to reject it. We all agree that a store would be good for the area but the size was thought to be too big.

I regular attend the RAFS meetings and help with the Kids Club at Christ Church on Wednesday evenings.

Mark Lancaster MP has been to Stantonbury several times and has given me his full support. You can find a photo on his web page from the Stantonbury Spring Clean.

BRADVILLE

WINDMILL I am delighted to tell you that the windmill will be opening up every First Thursday of the month and every first and last Sunday of the month 1.30pm to 3.30pm and Bank Holidays begining on Easter Sunday 4th April
If you are interested in helping with the Windmill please contact me at
barbara.wright@milton-keynes.gov.uk

I regularly attend the BRA meetings and help with the Recycled Teenagers Group and the Sunrise Singers Community Choir both meeting at Bradville Hall for information on any activities at Bradville Hall Community Centre you can email bradvillehall@live.co.uk

This year will see the first joint venture between Stantonbury & Bradville
with the North Saxon Carnival on Saturday 3rd July for more information on this see the web site North Saxon Carnival.

This is just some of the things there is much more and still more to be done.

I would like to take this opportunity to THANK everyone who has helped in any way with any of the project I have done as your Conservative Ward Councillor
